AM - Architectural Persons (AP)
Our membership is open for application to all persons in the Architectural Profession, including but not limited to the following (scroll down):
AP1: Archi-Students
An Architectural Person generally starts out as a student in a SACAP Accredited Institution studying Architecture.
AP2. SACAP Candidate
An Architectural Person upon attaining a qualification in architecture can register with SACAP as a Candidate and undergo Mentorship.
A Candidate is subject to the SACAP Code of Conduct.
AP3. SACAP Professional
An Architectural Person registered with SACAP as a Professional is legally permitted to practice architecture in South Africa.
A Professional is subject to the SACAP Code of Conduct.
AP4. Independent AP
An Architectural Person is not legally obliged to register with SACAP, they can work in association with a SACAP Professional or independently on work not identified for a SACAP Professional.

1. MEMBERSHIP FEES (subject to annual 10% increase):
1.1. ONCE OFF: Application / Admin Fee: R275
1.2. PAYMENT OPTIONS:
- (A) Per Service: R110 (B) Per Month: R330 | (C) Per Quarter: R825 | (D) Per Annum: R2,640

2. MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNTS:
2.1 Students get 50% discount
2.2 Candidates get 25% discount
2.3 Independents get 10% discount
2.4 Members of IAPASA MOVEMENT get a further 10% discount on Per Quarter/Annum Options

3. MEMBERSHIP PROCESSING:
Simply fill in your info below and we will:
3.1. Acknowledge your application and send an invoice for application processing.
3.2. Request proof of membership category being applied for (e.g Qualification or Registration from the relevant Institution).
3.3. Process your application and send confirmation of your membership.
4. MEMBERSHIP COMMENCEMENT:
4.1 Membership benefits will only commence upon confirmation of membership and in accordance with T&Cs for services.
